I have had various people ask similar questions, so i feel it is necessary to address the questions for everyone.

Why should anyone help your campaign?

I am asking for your help to make a positive statement. By using an unconventional method (positive reinforcement) in the business world to achieve an ideal result for all parties involved; that includes you. You are like my silent business partner, though instead of lending me your money, you are lending me your good intentions, which is more powerful than any amount of money. I believe everything comes back around. This act of good intention will surely find its way back you, tenfold. A Pay It Forward intention. My ideal result is having my contract fulfilled and artwork seen, and the commissioner’s ideal is a positive reflection on his business because of a choice/contract he made.

How did this campaign begin?

Every action has a reaction, a response to a prior action/thought. The idea for this campaign is my response to the last few contracts that ended up broken, resulting in big setbacks (financially, emotionally, etc..). I learnt a great deal from those experiences. Yet, I am again faced with a choice: 1- do what I did before, not really putting into practice what I have learnt, or 2-do something different, do something positive so that all can benefit. I am choosing the latter, I am choosing it because it feels good.

Change usually starts with a thought. HAVE U SEEN IT? started as a thought, that thought grew into imagining all the art that has never been seen, or even conceptualized because artists are not taken seriously in the business world. I believe the issue can be taken from either side, yet the bottom line: artists and the business world need to demonstrate a willingness to understand the world of the other.
The HAVE U SEEN IT? campaign is a demonstration to make a statement, to encourage change & inspire positive responses. And we celebrate with the unveiling of a piece of art that stood a high chance of never being seen.

I would be honored to lend this campaign to other artists looking to make a positive statement.

How can this campaign help other artists?

As stated above, I am more than willing and intrigued to open this campaign to those looking to make a positive statement. I do not have a strict vision for the continuance of this campaign, i think that the more people who work for a common goal can achieve tremendous leaps in success and learning. I would love to see this campaign grow to make a positive impact for various artists, dancers, actors, musicians, chefs, writers, etc.. It holds a great potential in my eyes, I hope it will in others.

Why should I support art in a town I don’t even live in? and I might never see?

Just because you dont live in Paris doesnt mean you dont know what it looks like. With the amazing achievements in technology and digital printing, you can see just about anything on the internet, and you can always order a print to enjoy art in the comfort of your home. To support art in a town where you don’t live is understandable. It would be more of a statement for a positive idea. A very simple act, that combined collectively can make a huge statement. I encourage you to bring the campaign into your town, inspire other community members to send a post card and I encourage you to start your own positive HAVE U SEEN IT? campaign in your town. The campaign is open to the community to make it better, because collectively we can grow exponentially.
